My husband and I have been traveling this week and just needed some GOOD FOOD. And we found the best spot for that. Along with some amazing service. Brisket - good. Pulled pork - AMAZING. Mac and cheese - good. Turnip greens - AMAZING. Cornbread - SO good. You have to give this spot a try. It’s priced right and made right. And they treat you right. Will be back. . Soon.
Hands down the best BBQ experience that I had down in the Memphis area. The best dry rub wings, love that they’re smoked then flash fried, I even bought the seasoning for them to try and replicate at home. The potato salad is a sour cream and ranch base, the green beans are buttery and brothy, and the ribs, get them muddy. I’m also usually a chopped brisket kind of guy, but went sliced, loved it here. Would highly recommend coming if you’re in town.

We were in the US visiting from the UK, as big fans of Melissa Cookston we have wanted to come here for a while. The food was absolutely amazing. The best BBQ we've ever had. Nikki looked after us, she was fantastic, great recommendations and brilliant service. We had the half racks with pork belly burnt ends, pulled pork, and brisket. There's a reason the ribs are world champions! Will definitely be back next time we're in Memphis.
My husband and I ate here for lunch while passing through MS and we had a nice time! Loved the BBQ sauce so much we purchased our own to bring home. The ribs were phenomenal!!!! The other meat we ordered (brisket and burnt ends) on our platter were good, but not as good as the ribs. This is a great place to come for amazing southern bbq ribs!
Was highly recommend by some locals...didn't disappoint. Great food and service. Had the pulled chicken sandwich, incredible. You have to meet Gina, she was working at the bar during my visit. She is a local and had great advice for places to go, where to stay, just a wealth of knowledge! I wasn't able to visit her the next day during her day shift to let her know the recommendation she made was on the money! I really hope to visit with her on my next visit.
As someone from KC, I’ll admit I came in with high standards and wasn’t expecting to be blown away… but Memphis BBQ Company absolutely delivered. I’ve always been a little intimidated by pork rinds, but our server Cordaryl convinced me to give them a shot—and wow, I’m glad he did. They were incredible. I ordered the Pitmaster Sampler, and everything from the meats to the sides was top-tier. Honestly, some of the best BBQ I’ve had. And shoutout to Cordaryl—I’m a pretty picky eater, and he was patient, helpful, and genuinely made the whole experience better. Outstanding service all around.
Great food! Our server, Lamaya, made fantastic recommendations. The ribs, BBQ spaghetti, cole slaw and pork rinds were worth the trip. Ask for Lamaya if you come in.
I’m not the biggest BBQ fan. But I heard so many suggestions to come and give this place a try. I am very glad that I did. The bartender was amazing. She was very professional and polite. She gave me very good recommendations. I had the Brisket plate with potato salad and red beans and rice. The flavor was amazing and so good. I will be back
This is one hella phenomenal BBQ joint! We were seated immediately and greeted by a server pasaing by. The BBQ sauce had 3 varieties and our Nachos were huge! Cam returned to check on us shortly after our food arrived and we found his stories about the restruants history quite engaging! BRAVO!
